Specs & Performance

Which is better – Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna? The answer’s simple, the all-new 2022 Honda Odyssey is the clear winner! Boasting a peppy V6 engine, the Odyssey has configurable second-row seats and they’re worth their weight in cargo! In
comparison, the 2022 Toyota Sienna is sluggish to accelerate, and the second-row seats can’t be removed which sort of defeats the purpose of the modern-day minivan.

Dimensions & Cargo Space

Is Toyota Sienna bigger than Honda Odyssey? Believe it or not, they’re neck and neck when it comes to dimensions and cargo space, give, or take a couple of inches or two. That goes for both models and their interiors, exteriors, cargo spaces, and trim levels too. As for extra space, factory installed roof racks come preinstalled depending on the configuration and installing an aftermarket hitch is always an option as well.

Interior Design & Features

The interior of the 2022 Honda Odyssey is beautifully designed. From premium features throughout the cabin to a hands-free power tailgate, the 2nd-row seats are configured so the 3rd-row is easily accessible. And depending on the trim level, there’s a rear entertainment system that’s perfect for long road trips and short ones alike.

Break out the popcorn and soda pop, depending on the trim level that is, the all-new 2022 Toyota Sienna comes with captain’s chairs with built-in ottomans. Perhaps a little overkill unless you plan on turning your minivan into a movie theatre. And considering there’s already an optional rear entertainment center in place, perhaps that explains the 18 cup holders, speaking of overkill.

Price Comparison

As far as trims are concerned, it’s better to compare the 2022 Honda Odyssey EX starting at $35,690 to the 2022 Toyota Sienna LE. And when it comes to comparing the two models against one another, the $50k+ Toyota Sienna Platinum only comes with a 4-Cyl 245 net hybrid hp and those movie theater ottoman seats, which serve absolutely no purpose when it comes to the actual performance of the vehicle itself. Honda Odyssey V6 it is!
